Joseph's First Vision in the Sacred Grove revealed profound truths—foremost that the heavens are not silent. They are open, ever ready to receive and send divine communication. God, in His infinite mercy, continues to speak to us, personally and through modern prophets. To me, the Sacred Grove represents more than just a place; it is a sanctuary of divine connection, a symbol of the sacred spaces we must create in our own lives.
Life is loud—do we seek the quiet stillness required to commune with our Creator? In our personal sacred groves, we can quiet the world and genuinely listen. Whenever I seek out a sacred grove, a safe, quiet place, and endeavor to communicate with the Captain of my Soul, He speaks, and my heart hears him. I attempted to capture the essence of this principle by depicting light & truth streaming through still tree branches, distilling upon the soul like the dew from heaven.

About this Piece
I had difficulty coming up with the title of this piece. I showed this to my wife and asked what thoughts came to her mind, she profoundly and emotionally responded: “The Journey Home.” He will always leave the ninety-nine to look for you, no matter how far you have strayed, you cannot stray far enough from his divine love. He will find you and bring you back home.
